The Advisory Centre for Education
ACE is an independent advice service for parents in England and Wales, offering advice on topics such as special educational needs, admissions, exclusion from school, bullying and more.

Enquire
If you're in Scotland, Enquire - the Scottish advice service for additional support for learning - provides much the same service as ACE.
Call their helpline 0845 123 2303 (local rate line, Mondays - Fridays 9am - 5pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays till 7pm).

The Nurture Group Network

Parentline Plus
Parentline Plus offer help and support to anyone in a parenting role.

The Centre for Child Mental Health.
Supports the development of professionals working with children through conferences, training days and courses, to enable you to feel more empowered, supported and confident.

YoungMinds
Offers information and support to young people and their parents on a range of issues. There's a dedicated Parents Information Line 0800 018 2138 (free, Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm, Wednesday 6 - 8pm).
They have some very helpful booklets especially for young people on subjects such as self-injury, eating disorders, depression, bullying and abuse. Bullying UK
If you're having problems with bullying, Bullying UK provides lots of helpful information on all sorts of bullying including dealing with bullies who taunt others by text messages. Sometimes bullying can make you feel very unhappy and upset and that life isn't worth living but you will come through it. You can email at anytime to help@bullying.co.uk.
Kidscape
Works with children and young people under the age of 16, their parents or carers, and those who work with them.
The Kidscape anti-bullying helpline for parents of bullied children 08451 205 204 (local rate, Monday - Tuesday 10am - 8pm, Wednesday - Friday 10am - 4pm.

ChildLine
ChildLine provides free and confidential counselling for anyone up to the age of 18. Their free helpline is open 24 hours a day, every day on 0800 11 11.

ChildLine phone lines can be very busy, but do keep trying and you will get through.
