The fifth series of Desperate Housewives begins five years after Katherine shot her ex-husband and Susan, Lynette, Bree and Gabrielle stood together to protect her.

Susan tries to hide her relationship with a new man, and Gabrielle questions her own abilities as a mother. Bree is on the verge of publishing her cookbook - and her business partner Katherine is growing increasingly envious.

Lynette catches her teenaged twins masterminding illegal activities, and Edie returns to Wisteria Lane in jaw-dropping fashion with a new man in tow...

I am so hooked on Desperate Housewives ive watched the show all over the summer holidays, even getting up early to see it and i just got in from school and watched the last episode in series 4 to find no trace of series 5!! Please show series 5 again sooon!!! pleeeaaaassssseeeee!!! Theres no point in showing them out ofsequence because the characters are so involved!! I VOTE SERIES FIVE!!! SERIES FIVE !!!!SERIES FIVE!!

  20. This is supremely annoying. Why advertise something you don't provide? I've only recently caught up with all DH 1-4 and was looking forward to catching up with series 5 which I missed on TV. But oh no! Channel 4 has decided to copy the BBC and go super trendy and hold back on the good stuff! Uncalled for.

  23. Just watched an old episode on E4 and following the ads for 4OD thought i could watch series 5 which i totally missed and was gutted about but it appears that's not available. Why have the series listed if i can't watch it?? This is pointless teasing Channel 4!

  35. this website is so annoying. i'm so angry that i cant watch desperate housewives as it is one of my favourite shows! you clearly stated that this was a better version of the old 4od. but i can now see that it is not. BRING BACK THE OLD 4OD!!!

So when the recent tv advert for 4od said to not worry about missing any programs, that you can simply go to the website to watch them and all past episodes - this failed to mention that it doesn't include some of the more popular programs, like Desperate Housewives! I had problems with the 4od download software that it worked at first, but then failed to work so I missed the whole series.. I now feel very disappointed to have checked out the website as per the advert and the episodes that I have missed (in fact the whole series) cannot be watched despite the recent adverts for it! Lol
