Susan catches Katherine in bed with a younger man - someone she had an affair with 12 years ago. Her lover, Tim, confides in Susan that at the time he witnessed Katherine hitting a man in the head with a heavy candlestick.
Dylan reads a message that had been thrown into the fire - it reads, "Your father was murdered." She assumes her mother did it, but when she goes to visit Adam he assures her that Katherine did not kill her father. However Katherine had begged Adam not to reveal the *real* truth...
