Arguments are rife as Gabrielle and Sister Mary Bernard argue over Carlos' mission of mercy to Africa, and Susan confronts her biological father's wife after she thinks they are having an affair.
Meanwhile, unaware that they are being followed, Betty and Matthew help Caleb escape.
