Tenacious and strong, she knows what she wants does our Mrs Scavo. So this well-made, no-nonsense stiff drink is just the job.

Vintage Manhattan
Ingredients:
40ml bourbon
20ml sweet vermouth
Dash of Maraschino
Dash of Peychaud Bitters
Dash of Angostura Bitters
Method:
Now, the serious part of this drink is that the ingredients (except for the Maraschino) are aged in a bottle for up to six months.
After this time, measure out 60ml from the aged bottle and stir in a Boston shaker over ice, adding the Maraschino.
Double strain into a cocktail glass.
