It's fair to say married life hasn't gone quite as smoothly as ex-model Gabrielle expected. It's fair to say it's been a disaster.
Standing at the altar, she probably didn't think her husband would cheat on her with the Chinese maid who was supposed to be the surrogate mother of her baby. Nor was having an affair with her 17-year-old gardener high on the pre-nuptial agenda.
But even after marrying high-flying statesman Victor Lang, Gabrielle's love for ex-husband Carlos continues, despite Edie Britt having got her claws into him in Series 4.
Five years on, they're back together with two kids, and a few more curves.
It doesn't take long though for Gabby to get back her former beauty-queen looks, nor - in her usual tenacious way - for her to force Carlos into earning the big bucks again.
Her softer side shows through, however, when she agrees Carlos's teenage niece, Ana, can stay with them - a decision she well may come to regret...
