Two-time divorcée Edie spends her time selling houses, seducing men, and plotting the downfall of her rivals in love.
Her exploits have earned her many enemies, many notches in the bedpost, and a bad case of crabs.
Her longstanding rivalry with Susan erupts in the fiery destruction of each others' homes, the only difference being Susan's arson is accidental. The two fight bitterly for the affection of Mike Delfino as well.
Moving her attention elsewhere, Edie sets her sites on Carlos, commencing a fierce conflict with Gabrielle. All's fair in love and war - so it's no problem if Edie has to feign suicide to keep Carlos from leaving her.
Returning to Wisteria Lane with a new husband in Series 5, could it be that Edie is a reformed character?
