Derren takes three medical students to the Old Operating Theatre and attempts to cause them to feel and avoid pain, and subliminally influences two creatives from an advertising agency.
At St Pancras Station, Derren attempts to illustrate how it's possible to improve a commuter's memory of a shocking incident. He also shocks a group of models by knowing their favourite chat-up lines.
