The Eukanuba Friends for Life competition, run by the Kennel Club, is an inspiring celebration of man’s best friend. Hundreds of remarkable dogs were nominated for the competition, which celebrates heart-warming stories of friendship in adversity and how humans and dogs transform and enrich each other’s lives. The dog that the public votes as having the most truly deserving tale will be presented with the trophy during a special ceremony at Crufts on 9th March and shown on Channel 4.

Terms and Conditions

The Crufts Friends for Life vote is organised by Channel Four Television Corporation of 124 Horseferry Rd, London, SW1P 2TX. By participating in the vote you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. You will only be able to vote if you have a registered Channel4.com account. If you are not already registered you will need to register with Channel 4.

2.You may cast your vote by selecting the finalist you want to win the Crufts Friends for Life Award and then clicking 'Vote now'.

3. The finalist with the most votes will win the Crufts Friends for Life award.

4. You are only permitted to vote once per registered account

5. You must be a UK resident aged 16 or over to vote.

6. The vote closes at 11.59pm on 7th March 2015 and the result will be broadcast within the Crufts programme that transmits on More4 on 8th March 2015. The finalist with the most votes at the time the vote close will win the ‘Friends for Life’ award. In the event of a tie those tying with the most votes will share the title.

7. All valid votes we receive will be counted. Channel 4 reserves the right to discount votes if, in Channel 4's sole discretion, it considers that a vote or votes may be designed to interfere with the fair operation of the Vote. This includes, but is not limited to, more votes being cast than a human being could possibly submit in the time available without the use of software or other devices designed to make or facilitate automated votes or other activity in breach of these voting terms or our Terms of Use.

8. Channel 4 reserves the right to cancel or delay revealing the result if it has any reason to doubt the validity of the vote result or in the event of any technical failure. In the event of technical failure once the vote has closed Channel 4 will revert to the previous confirmed vote update for the final result.

9. Channel 4 may suspend, withdraw, cancel or reset the vote without notice in the event of catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any other problem in any system, server, provider, human or administrative error or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Channel 4 hereby excludes all warranties, representations, covenants and liability (whether express or implied) regarding the Vote.

10. Channel 4 reserves the right to amend these vote terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the website and such posting will be adequate notice to all participants.

11. These voting terms are and any matter or dispute of whatever nature connected to these rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
