Series 8 Summary

Coming Up 2013 returns with seven original dramas and stars a host of top British talent on both sides of the camera including Joe Gilgun, Una Stubbs, Celia Imrie, Jodie Comer and Adeel Akhtar.

  • Episode 1 - Henry

    Karen loves her two-year-old son Henry, but feels that he could be better off without her. Under huge pressure she makes a momentous decision.

  • Episode 2 - Burger Van Champion

    Local burger legend Denise - Jessie Cave - enters an eating competition in America on Tom's - Will Merrick - suggestion because she thinks she might be in with a chance of winning his heart

  • Episode 3 - Big Girl

    Gemma and Hannah used to be best mates. On the eve of her Mum's wedding, Gemma escapes the pre-nuptials to reconnect with her old friend. But Hannah is returning to Sierra Leone and won't say why.

  • Episode 4 - Doughnuts

    Baz lives with his parents and his heavily pregnant wife, Roxy. He thinks he's got his life sorted but Roxy wants more.
