Take five unlikely sporting personalities, a selection of bizarre sporting activities and 'Doggy' the rabid mascot and you have Best of British - a Superstars for the insane.
Writers and cast members Gus Bousfield, Julian Butler and Bob Priestley champion, albeit ironically, the great and the good of Britain's unique sporting heritage.
Contestants include an obese darts player, a kung fu pensioner, an ageing golfer, a teenage gymnast and a rugby league player. They compete to become the champion of such bizarre sports as Garden Hopping, Bullying, Bulldogs Charge and the totally undignified Naked Lost Property Mauling.
