In this political special, former Labour councillor Derek Hatton takes on ex-Tory minister Edwina Currie, policeman-turned-Lib Dem Brian Paddick, and outspoken political commentator Rod Liddle, in a bitter battle to top the culinary polls.
Liverpudlian Derek kicks off the show with a menu that has Rod and Edwina ridiculing his working class credentials.
On day two true-blue Edwina shocks her diners by revealing her secret crush on a former minister.
On day three Rod admits that most people prefer his cooking to his personality before greeting his guests with his flies undone!
And on the final night, before the culinary polls close, Lib Dem Brian hopes to calm rising tensions with a night of 'positive' table talk and conflict avoidance. But his strategy is soon in tatters as Rod and Derek launch into a full scale shouting match before the first course is even served, with Rod seemingly up for a bit of fisticuffs with Derek.
