Bringing a touch of class to the coach, Rosemary and Judith met almost 60 years ago when they were members of the world famous 'Bluebell Girls' dance troupe. The ladies travelled the world with the legendary group and became accustomed to glamorous parties, rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous and, while in South America, they were even sent chocolates by the President Juan Peron! Since retiring Judith contributes choreography to her local Amateur Dramatic Society and spends much of her time volunteering.Stephen and Margaret, who have been married for 21 years, volunteered for coach trip so they can visit places that they could never normally afford to visit. Margaret practices Spiritualism and claims to be able to pick up on people's spirits 'just sitting opposite people'. The pair are both enthusiastic naturists and Margaret celebrated her 60th birthday by getting a tattoo of a ladybird on shoulder.These two are often confused for being girlfriend and boyfriend, even though she's actually his mum! Delighted with this common mistake, Fiona often joins her son and his friend when they hit the clubs, but has yet to set him up with a girl successfully. She also has a competitive streak, demonstrated by her passion for breeding Egyptian Mau cats and entering them in competitions.Tom and Anita met while working in the same office. Anita's usual holidays involve visiting family in America, but she's not explored much of Europe before so Coach Trip will be a great opportunity to see the continent. Despite Tom describing himself as 'perpetually single' and 'unlucky in love', Anita has said she likes all of her female friends too much to set them up with him! Could Tom find love on the coach?These two both lead an active lifestyle and are keen salsa dancers who like to live life to its fullest. They love anything that lets you build up a sweat and would hate to be stuck around people who don't get involved. Wayne is a part-time magistrate who sees himself as an 'excellent judge of character' so he should have no problem when it comes to dishing out those infamous yellow cards.Recent graduates Lauren and Danielle cemented their friendship while studying for a degree in drama. Somewhat geographically challenged, Danielle is open about her belief that Hungary is part of India. The 20-year-old says that she 'isn't fussy' when it comes to men but, like Lauren, avoids dating bald men as they remind her of her dad!Attention lovers Tina and Monica are best friends with a 'unique' sense of humour - they like to pretend they are reporters for Which? Magazine so they can ask random people personal questions! Tina is most looking forward to the Coach Trip activities that will involve 'cooking and eating' while Monica may transfer her fiercely competitive nature from the roller derby track to the Coach Trip vote.Former business rivals Annette and Martin formed a relationship after joining forces at an antiques fair. Martin began in the antiques industry aged 11 and claims he can 'sell anything to anyone''. The pair admit to fighting 'like cat and dog' but describe their relationship as rock solid and say they find it easy make friends with other couples - on a recent trip to Egypt they were joined by 35 other couples for dinner and drinks.Mother and son Helen and Daniel hail from The Wirral; 'the posh side of Liverpool'. They are very close and share a love of animals, particularly their cats. Helen says she has always raised Daniel to have good manners and a strong moral code, so they'll be no rudeness or bullying on the coach while they're on board!Relatives Usman and Araf describe their family as being very 'liberal', with a mix of backgrounds and nationalities. Usman raises money for Islamic charities whilst Araf isn't particularly religious, but both believe that faith shouldn't be forced upon people. Usman often feels that he is judged by his appearance and has learnt 'not to judge a book by its cover' and Araf is a keen local historian who has written books on Middlesbrough's local history.Taxidermist Bonnie and laboratory technician Sam share their home with a menagerie of animals such as lizards, cockroaches and snakes. They can also often be seen taking their ferrets out for a walk. But don't be fooled by their edgy appearances - both girls say that people are always surprised when they get to know them properly.This inseparable pair, whose surnames have been combined by friends to create the nickname 'Jeffwood', are training to be teachers at the same university where they also serve as the social secretaries of the cheerleading squad. They claim to be so accustomed to bitchiness that they no longer care and are always keen to have fun; in their words, 'There ain't no party like a Jeffwood party!'Former neighbours Lynne and Steve took the commandment to 'love thy neighbour' literally when they met and later married. Lynne says that she lived a 'very colourful life' before dedicating herself to religion, becoming a Methodist Preacher. In her spare time, she also runs the local Brownie group and is actively involved in fundraising for the parish. The couple always try to see the good in people and live their lives according to their Christian values.Image conscious attention lovers Olivia and Kyale have a fear of fading into the background and are fully prepared to pretend that they are interested in the cultural activities on the Coach Trip, (although they think they will hate them). West End performer Olivia's greatest fear on the trip is running out of glue for her false eyelashes, while Kyale's excited about the prospect of getting close to 'sexy' tour guide Brendan.This pair became firm friends after hairdresser Christine rescued Linda from multiple hair-related disasters. Both keen gardeners and self-confessed flirts, the pair claim that their nightmare would be having to spend their holiday with vulgar, night-time revellers.Harry Potter fan Mark met lover of 'angry music' Laura after discovering her a little 'worse for wear' outside a supermarket and walking her home. Mark particularly wants to visit 'a tiny city' that he heard exists within Rome (apparently it's 'something to do with Caesar')!Tony and Wolfy have been partying together for the past 15 years. They love all aspects of the mod scene and still dress in the clothes, listen to the music and regulary attend scooter rallies and mod gigs. They hate moaners and will always join in. Just don't ask Tony to sky dive as he's afraid of heights!Yorkshire lasses Frankie and Alice met when their parents dated - but their relationship has lasted longer than their parents did! With opposing tastes in men and music, the girls do share a passion for sunning themselves in Ibiza. They often get mistaken for being 'rough' because of their Northern accents - but don't be fooled, Alice used to get chauffeured to school by her dad in his Bentley.Dad Dave claims to dislike know-it-alls, but headstrong Helen claims he's one himself! Although Helen says that she'll be making the decisions on the coach, Dave reveals that he'll be voting tactically to ensure that they remain on the trip.North East lads Jamie and Mark share a desire to resist settling down, a love of banter and a loathing of whingers, but differ in their approach to food and women - Jamie's the 'fussy one', apparently! While sportsman Jamie sings with his own band, Mark prefers to sing with a karaoke machine and once won a 'Most Talentless' competition.Bolton born Alison and Ash are planning to marry later this year at a drive-thru wedding chapel in Las Vegas. Alison confesses to having a loud personality and she always tells people exactly what she thinks. She says she would hate to be on the coach with anybody like her. Ash seeks out a joke in every situation and Alison says he is the most judgmental person she knows. Alison likes to disguise the fact that she is naturally ginger, and her biggest worry about the trip is losing her hair dye and eyebrow pencil!
