Find out what some of the coach-trippers had to say about their experience of a lifetime on board the infamous coach towards Lapland!
What did you enjoy most about the experience?
Sandrea - I enjoyed being able to take the time out to spend time with my Mum and have the opportunity to get to know more about her and how determined she is to have a go at anything J. You think just because someone is your parent that you automatically know everything about them? It took an adventure like this to open my eyes to lots of things. I learnt more about my Mum on this trip than I ever would have had the chance to, it was lovely and I will cherish the memories we shared forever.
Kiran - Meeting Brendan hes a real professional, he does a really great job, and Brendan has fantastic skill in particular in the area of diplomacy. You can tell he really is passionate about travel - this comes second to his love for puddings! I really enjoyed meeting him. He is a star. We loved his Christmas jumpers too!
Tommy - I loved meeting so many new people from different walks of life, and I enjoyed all the physical activities like ice hockey, white water rafting, abseiling and figure skating&even if Brendan made me dress in a 12-year-old girls outfit!
Which passenger(s) did you get on with most during the trip and why?
Geof and Dot - We loved Jake and Lew, as northerners we shared the same sense of humour and they kept us laughing for the whole trip.
Jamie and Steven - We clicked with Rebecca & Diane from the very start, they are lively, interesting people who are generous in heart, mind and spirit. Tom & Cliff where a hoot, always having just the right amount of humour to 'naughty schoolboy' attitude to make any situation fun.
Cliff - I really enjoyed meeting Jake and Louis, as they were on the same wavelength as us - you could almost say we shared a holiday Bromance!
Were there any moments that made you want to pull the coach over and get off?
Geof and Dot - Not once did we wish to get off the coach, it was laughs all the way.
Sandrea - When I sat thinking about the vote in the quiet moments on the coach, they really got to me and played on my mind - I hated having to vote for anyone and think of a reason. It got to me more than I ever realised and as much as I tried, I couldnt seem to just see it as a game and just do it.
Kiran - There were two contestants who clearly did not pay too much attention to their teeth cleaning - I found that quite revolting and catching their breath in the morning made me want to reach for the sick bag!
Tommy - The only time I wanted the coach to pull over was on my birthday - I celebrated the night before and was feeling a little worse for wear, and Brenden kindly played Theres a moose loose about this hooose song... twice!
Which destination during the tour was your favourite and why?
Karen and Sarah - The huskie sledging in Lapland. That was really good and the dogs were so cute.
Geof and Dot - The night we spent in the glass igloos was great, we could lie in bed looking for the stars - but alas no Aurora Borealis. At the reindeer farm we saw such good examples of the Lapland way of life - and being allowed to stroke and feed them until they got bored with all the attention!
Jamie and Steven - Hell as good& just so we can tell people we went to Hell and back!
Kiran - For me going to Skelitia and doing the ice hockey was good. I was not very comfortable in all that clobber but the city was nice and it was an opportunity I am never likely to repeat. My travel bud Amber liked the ice hockey (she was much better than me) and seeing her have to sort out getting the blooming kit on in the first place was really funny. We all looked totally stupid but somehow it was memorable. Clive and Tom (particularly Clive!) falling over every 30 seconds, and the noise of him hitting the deck will forever be etched into my memory - how he never came to major harm is a mystery to me!
Tommy - Norway was my favourite place, mainly because the Norwegian women were so gorgeous! But my favourite destination was Lapland; meeting the real Father Christmas was a childhood dream of mine.
What would you say was the most memorable part of the trip?
Geof and Dot - The excitement of the husky race - that was fab! And the added bonus of coming first.
Sandrea - The most memorable part of the trip was: spending two weeks with some lovely people seeing new countries experiencing new cultures, doing amazing and funny things whilst getting to know more about my lovely lovely Mother! We had such a brilliant time and well both never forget it. Oh and of course well never forget the brilliant beautiful Brendan!
Stef - My most memorable part of the trip was the ice hockey activity, and the collision me and Tasha had where we took three other people out with us. I was laughing that much I couldnt get up and Tasha thought she had killed me.
Cliff - The most memorable part for me had to be when Jake started a food fight after a Troll smashed the ginger bread house we were making to bits. Louis took the full brunt of it and his face afterwards will haunt me for ever. Its not the sort of thing you will expect to see in a daytime show lets put it that way!
Tommy - Playing Ice Hockey at MODO Stadium was the most memorable for me, I love sports and to get the opportunity to play a sport I would never get chance to in the UK was awesome. What made it more special for me was playing in an amazing professional stadium.
Alison There is one thing that will stay with me forever and that was the moment I first saw the one and only international tour guide that being Brendan that was a very special moment!
