Sunderland lass Lauren rose to prominence in the late nineties with teen punk band Kenickie, which had four Top 40 hits, and a Top 10 album. Since then she's released a solo EP, played at Reading Festival, and hit the Top 20 as vocalist on Mint Royale's song, 'Don't Falter'.
But these days Lauren's most well known for her television and radio work - she's presented dozens of shows ranging from a music special of the BBC's Test the Nation, to a Buffy the Vampire Slayer documentary on Sky One. Not to mention her covering almost every major music event on every channel in the last decade.
She's also a favourite guest on comedy panel shows, including Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks - AND she's carved out a successful career in radio, starting out as an Xfm DJ and now presenting her own show every weeknight on BBC 6 Music.
