  1. If racisum is to stop then Tessa Sanderson should start being a roll model for everyone black or white.

  2. Guys I didn't know much about Ron Atkinson before, but he seems to be a lovely lovely person to me; I really felt for him and I hated that his career was destroyed... I think we should really respect him and his wish not to be known with what happened for him but to be rememberd for all the good he has done... he clearly is a lovely lovely man, I just wish he could get back to what he does best and enjoy the rest of his life... I loved the show by the way... but I wish I could send him a direct message letting him know that we loved him in the show... and he should move on...

  3. I loved the show. I would watch this over and over again. It certainly made me understand how your life/livelihood could disappear through a lack of understanding in a certain concept. What I loved is how Tessa persevered to get her point across in a loving way and did not back down and things turned out well in the end. That in it self was inspirational. I could see that Ron had been suffering and really did not have a clue why this was the case. His wife Maggie was very down to earth and responsible by getting involved and actually speaking to him off camera in a language he understood. This in itself made a huge difference in how the world would view the situation personally. Well done all! I love shows with positive outcomes.

  4. Ron Atkinson was rightly maligned by the press for his stupid and thoughtless comments -- clearly made out of exasperation for the lack of performance (in his opinion) of a well known black player. OK, so let's move on! We don't need to deliberately prolong the misery of this guy and his charming wife forever. Ron Atkinson is clearly not a racist and it is a disgrace that he has been treated like a leper and a criminal. Forgive and forget! I look forward to seeing and hearing Ron Atkinson's excellent football commentaries again -- and, please, let some enlightened producer hire this guy's exceptional talents to replace, one of the many boring nonentities that seem to dominate the current viewing and listening times on many of the sports TV and Radio stations.

  5. I enjoyed wifeswap with Tessa Sanderson & Ron Aitkinson. I as a black women understand how serious & unacceptable Ron's racist slurs were. However after watching wifeswap I feel he feels deeply remorseful about his comments, he should be given a second chance. I also feel he's an alpha male as Tessa suggested but his bark is worse than his bite. Ron is quite a likeable charecter and still has a lot to offer aspiring footballers, community etc.Tessa and Denzeal were black positive role models which was nice to see.Maggie Ron's wife was a warm, caring people person.programmes like wifeswap are educational & enjoyable to watch! living in a multi cultural society it's imperative we embrace & respect one another regardless our ethnic background or colour.c.4. keep up the good work.

  6. HE IS NOT RASIST. IM A BLACK MAN 32 YEARS OF AGE BORN AND BREED IN LONDON AND I KNOW A RASIST MAN WHEN I SEE ONE AND RON AINT ONE OF THEM I THINK HE IS JUST USED TO HAVING BLACK FREINDS AND JUST USED TO BEING FREE WITH HIS THOUGTS AND SPEECH AROUND THE BLACK PEOPLE HE KNOWS. RONS KOOL HE IS JUST MAN WHO LET SLIP A PHRASE HE WOULD OF SAID TO A BLACK MANS FACE IF HE KNEW THEM. P.S DONT WORRY ABOUT THE PAST WORK ON YOUR FUTURE.

  7. What he said was wrong, he admits that, but I do not think he understood the severity of what he said due to the nice little bubble in which he lives. He hurt a lot of people but he has apologised and I think it is time for forgiveness so that he can move on and also so he is not just remembered for that one comment. However I do think it would be great if he would work with young players as he has a lot to give. It would be a terrible world if all of us were remembered for the worst thing we did.

  8. think it's time 'Big Ron' was given a 'Big Break.' he made a mistake and after watching celeb wife swap it's obvious he feel embarrassed & awkward about it enough for me to believe he is truly sorry. people have done much worse and been given less of a sentence soo lets move on (don't forget his outburst back then was with words that were frequently used without people really realizing the impact of their meaning) not an excuse ignorance is not a passport to get away with racism BUT I think he has paid more than the perceived crime... well done Tessa & partner - very dignified indeed, good show!
