As Zoë leaves the house for a run she passes Tom, who completely ignores her. As she continues her run she stumbles upon the corpse of Donnelly on the pavement; why didn't Tom warn her?
At the surgery, Evelyn pleads with York not to tell Danny the truth about the test results and against his better instincts York agrees. At the motel Samantha debriefs Ormond. Unhappy that he didn't complete his mission to assassinate Donnelly, she has another job for him: to pose as the revenge-seeking brother of one of Donnelly's past victims.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to comfort the scared residents, Wintersgill holds a community meeting where he tells them about Jack's past and how he had been taking unauthorised trips to the world outside Meadowlands.
