The eldest sibling, Sarah is a mother of two and, in Series 1, the executive vice-president of the Walker family company.
A tough business woman, she struggles to find enough time to dedicate to her personal life, and she often clashes with brother Tommy who thinks he should be the one heading up Ojai Foods.
Sarah and husband Joe soon start having problems - something that's not helped when Joe kisses Sarah's half-sister Rebecca - and despite having counselling, they separate at the end of Series 1.
At first they agree to share custody of their children, but Sarah is shocked when Joe files for full custody. They eventually sort it out after their daughter runs away to Nora's house, and their divorce is finalised.
A brief fling with consultant Graham Finch leads to a business deal which ends with Ojai Foods having to merge with Walker Landing (Tommy's and Holly's new company) in order to survive.
