The youngest of the Walker siblings, Justin is war-scarred and self-destructive.
Inspired by Kitty, Justin joined the army and served in Afghanistan. Suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder on his return, however, he gets addicted to drugs.
That's not his only problem. He's also a serial womaniser and constantly grapples with self-doubt, and his family’s view of him as incompetent. Kitty and Justin have a very close relationship, though, and she is often the one who steps in to resolve his disputes.
After being called back to Iraq, returning home and once more becoming addicted to painkillers, Justin starts to get himself back on the straight and narrow after his initially weird attraction to half-sister Rebecca turns out to be not-so scandalous when it's revealed she's not his half-sister after all (phew!). Their first kiss at the end of Series 2 leads to marriage plans in subsequent episodes. They even look set to start a family, but Rebecca tragically loses the baby.
By Series 5, Justin's hero's homecoming has amounted to a final snub from his now estranged wife, Rebecca, merely adding to the trauma he's suffering from. He's a tough one though, our Justin, and he isn't ready to quit yet!
Justin is played by Dave Annable
Dave Annable was born and raised in upstate New York. At college, in addition to being a keen sportsman, he contributed to the student-run TV station, both in front of and behind the cameras. Bitten by the acting bug, Annable went on to study his craft at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse with Richard Pinter, and began to receive attention thanks to memorable appearances on such shows as Reunion and Third Watch, as well as numerous commercials.
Before joining Brothers and Sisters in his regular starring role as Justin Walker, Annable also appeared on the big screen in film comedy Little Black Book. He will soon been seen in You May Not Kiss the Bride, alongside Mena Suvari, Rob Schneider and Vinnie Jones. Annable is married to Brothers and Sisters co-star Odette Yustman (Cloverfield, Monk).
