  1. TO TONY ROBINSON I have loved your shows since Fat Tulip scampered around under bushes.! WESTERN AUSTRALIAN MYSTERY SHIPWRECK. I have just published an Adventure Mystery book for twelve year olds called THE DEADWATER MYSTERY. A(supposed) 16th Century Dutch vessel lies in a landlocked neck of water, now some 30 - 50 metres from the shore, in the South Western area of Wonnerup Estuary. It was documented during the 1800's and early 1900's. Many locals wanted a piece of the loot that seems to have been connected with it. Murder, legends and lies surround it. No government interest has ever been shown.??? Around 1878 artifacts were taken to England and never seen again. For an insight into the mystery - look up Deadwater Wreck Wonnerup Western Australia. The remains of this vessel are still visible or rare occasions. It is also within maybe 2km of the documented Lost Longboat and (supposed) drowning of Timothy Vasse, during the French Voyage of Discovery of 1801, headed by Nicholas Baudin. He got a raw deal (but that's another story). Wonnerup Estuary is a few kilometres from BUSSELTON - Bussell - ring any Royal Bells? Malloy and others? If you would like to read about this antipodean mystery, I'd be overwhelmed to send you a copy of my book. If you and the Team wanted a watery adventure down under,I would be happy to provide some accommodation on a secluded bush block 25 kms from Busselton. There are many who would love to lay this mystery to rest. ISBN of my book -097584234-X I am yours in anticipation Barbara Jean Stuart
