The second film of the series followed the children from the ages of three to four.


Shelbie's Partial Trisomy 9P causes seizures and apnea attacks which stop her breathing and could kill her. But mum Vicky is getting married and she's determined that Shelbie will be a bridesmaid.

Hamish is enjoying an active outdoor childhood in New Zealand, fishing with his dad and playing soccer and cricket with his new friends at school.

Zoe's Arthrogryposis is going to make using her hands and walking very difficult, but during her first term at mainstream primary school she takes her first steps. Meanwhile her parents' relationship has become strained.

William's Tuberous Sclerosis causes regular seizures and as his behaviour deteriorates his parents worry that he is showing signs of autism.

Emily's Spina Bifida, though relatively mild, means that she is still potty training and she will need to have an operation to make her continent.

Despite his Down's syndrome Nathan is settling in at nursery, communicating and engaging with his peers and starting to become more independent.
