  1. I agree with Alison,Why is episode 2 not available? Will it ever be? 4OD is set out bad, it is hard to navigate through and find all shows available to watch online. Why cant there be a listing for all availabe online content? The old 4OD was better set out than this

  2. ...surely the answer to this unemployment depression would be to let people get a sense of pride back by working even for a minimum wage ....and be given the difference in their benefits back therefore ensuring no drop in income . This way the government could reduce their payments to people and people would be proud to work again !! Shall i open an agency for this perhaps ??

  4. I think the eloquent young lady in this clip said it all- tedious and a waste of time- and if they're only helping the job ready, as the tutor sugested- then what role is A4E really playing in affecting the numbers of disaffected, long term unemployed. Answer... nothing. Those people would have got jobs eventually anyway.

  5. What an appalling waste of time and taxpayers' money A4E is. I feel so sorry for the people having to attend these courses. They are offered 0-hour contracts and week-long jobs, and it must be hideously demotivating. I watched last night's program and none of the people featured actually walked away with a permanent job. What is the point of A4E?

  7. I have worked for driving agencies for 10 years on and of so how do I pay my rent and bills when I do not know how many days work a week I will get. Income support is reguler money so you know you can pay your rent every week most employers only want agency hgv drivers as they are cheaper and easier to get rid of when they do not have the work.

  8. don't like the fact that this company is on a bonus scheme,i watched last week's and found that a job in a pound shop could have been got by anyone, unfair to force people into low payed job's just so the company can get there bonus for each person they get off the dole, yes you have a better chance of getting a good job while already in a job but it should be the clamients decession, waying up travel cost's etc and a low payed job may be as much money as on the dole !

  9. What a load of rubbish this company is. My brother attended one of these in Sheffield on a 13 weeks training course for plumbing and there were no decent tools to work with and there wasn't enough computers to look on for work. He still didn't get a job at the end.
