This was the last in this series of Restoration Nightmare and we hope that you enjoyed it.
It has been such a privilege to work on the restoration of Rise Hall with the craftsmen, trades people and advisors that have all come together to make it possible.
We were a bit worried that our very poor man's Brighton Pavilion chinoiserie might just end up looking more like a garish neon sign, but more by luck than judgement we were really pleased with the result. I really cannot tell you how cheap and simple it is.
We would also like to thank the bride and groom, Vicki and Mike, for putting on a brave face as their wedding date drew ever nearer! The support of people wanting to get married here makes the whole journey feel a little more worthwhile.
