The young Logan Mountstuart is played by Sam Claflin.
Since graduating from LAMDA in 2009, Sam has worked on a number of exciting projects. He has been filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in which he stars as a youthful missionary alongside Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
In October this year Sam appeared on Channel 4 in the epic drama Pillars of the Earth, which he filmed in Budapest in 2009. Sam plays Richard, starring alongside Hayley Atwell and Matthew Macfadyen from Any Human Heart. Pillars of the Earth was adapted from the hit novel of the same name by Ken Follett.
He is also due to star in The Lost Future, a sci-fi adventure in which he plays Kaleb alongside Sean Bean and Annabelle Wallis.
Sam's theatre credits while at LAMDA include the role of Dorimant in Man of Mode; the title role in Tommy; Silvius in As You Like It; and Davey in Love Is.
