Series 3 Summary

The irrepressible Alan Carr returns with series 3 of his warm and witty chat show. The eight new programmes will be brimming with celebrity guests, hot showbiz news and new music.

  • Alan and Katie Price

    Episode 1

    In this opening episode, Alan is joined on the sofa by comedy superstar, Ricky Gervais. Fresh from hosting the Golden Globes, Ricky talks to Alan about the DVD release of his latest film The Invention of Lying and his forthcoming world comedy tour.

    Also joining Alan is model and reality TV star Katie Price, who chats about her TV new series What Katie Did Next. Plus, Vinnie Jones, who spills the beans about his time on Celebrity Big Brother and music from the talented Corinne Bailey Rae who performs an exclusive track Paris Night/New York Morning from her latest album.

    Episode 2

    Alan is joined on the sofa by US actress Daryl Hannah to talk about her new film A Closed Book and ex star of Skins Nicholas Hoult, tells all about his big screen role in A Single Man. EastEnders stars Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer talk about 25 years of the series and Ricky and Bianca's wedding plans. Plus, pop star Mika performs his single Blame It on the Girls.

    Episode 3

    Alan's guests on the sofa include winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2010 Alex Reid, in his first TV chat show interview since leaving the Big Brother house. Comedian Jimmy Carr and ex supermodel and US TV star Janice Dickinson. Plus, US musician Ke$ha performs her latest single: Blah Blah Blah.

    Alan is joined on the sofa by rock goddess Courtney Love who talks about her new album; TV presenter Steve Jones chats about his latest TV projects including hosting Let's Dance For Sport Relief and 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show.     Torchwood actor and musical star John Barrowman chats about his new album, John Barrowman, and Supernanny Jo Frost discusses her brand new Channel 4 series, Jo Frost: Extreme Parental Guidance.

    The 2010 Brit Awards Critic's Choice winner Ellie Goulding performs her new single, Starry Eyed.

    Episode 6

    The guests joining Alan for show six include comedian Frankie Boyle who talks about his UK tour; Torvill & Dean who give Alan the low-down on the Dancing on Ice tour. Lindsay Lohan drops in for a chat. Plus, Mary J. Blige performs her new single, I Am.

    Episode 7

    Alan is joined on the sofa by the newly-crowned WBA World Heavyweight Boxing Champion David Haye. As well as giving Alan a few boxing tips, David will be chatting about his forthcoming bout against John Ruiz in the World Heavyweight Championships where he hopes to retain his current title. Fresh from raising one million pounds in the Sport Relief Million Pound Bike Ride from John O'Groats to Land's End are comedians Miranda Hart and Russell Howard.

    Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber drops in to talk about his new single and music is from Florence + the Machine performing 'Dog Days Are Over'

    Episode 8

    Alan will be joined on the sofa by 80s pop icon Boy George who discusses his UK tour and new single 'Amazing Grace', star of Sex and the City Kim Cattrall tells Alan all about her new film The Ghost; plus award-winning hip-hop group N-Dubz pop in to chat and perform their latest single: 'Say it's Over'.
