As Britain reels from an orgy of violence and vandalism, 4thought.tv devotes a special week to those directly affected by England's riots, and to those who say they know what causes this behaviour, and what must be done to stop it.
Manchester Catholic Priest Phil Sumner worked to help heal broken communities after past riots in Moss Side and Oldham. He believes the church must work with young people as they will only learn to live by the values of society once they themselves feel valued.
