An elite Viking warrior, formerly of the Varangian Guard in Constantinople, Snorri is well-travelled and skilled in several languages. He is a skald, or warrior-poet – as gifted with words as he is with an axe.

  1. Hi Rosalynn, I was present at the filming as I am a member of Regia Anglorum - the re-enactors used for the production. The original ending was supposed to have a small voice-over from Snorri (played by Soren Byder) as he stands at Harold's grave on the beach, he then turns and walks away, so he survived.

  2. i would really like to know if snorri lives or dies, but i think he was the best warrior and it was nice for him to fight with the anglo saxons in the battle.
