Threading is a relatively painless form of hair removal, and compared to waxing there is virtually no redness making it ideal for removing unwanted facial hair. It is easier to accurately control the angle of the finished eyebrow as it can remove smaller individual hairs as well as groups of hairs, resulting in a more precise and defined shape.
Re-growth can take up to between four to six weeks and the risk of ingrown hairs is minimal due to threading removing the hair from the root. With regular maintenance, hair re-growth becomes finer and the chances of irritation, inflammation and loss of elasticity on the skin, which can be caused by other hair removal methods, are greatly reduced.
