Multi award-winning drama Shameless returns to the Chatsworth Estate for 16 new episodes. In the sixth series, the unorthodox but tightly-knit Gallagher family is on the cusp of falling apart, while the Maguires' past deeds finally come back to haunt them. Debbie (Rebecca Ryan) celebrates her 16th birthday, while Frank (David Threlfall) suffers post-natal depression after baby number nine. And new characters, feisty auxiliary nurse Maxine (Joanna Higson) and charismatic new love interest Joe (Ben Batt), look set to stir things up on the Chatsworth Estate.
Benefit fraud; brothels; stints in jail; and stings gone wrong, along with fake suicide; drug withdrawal; joyriding; lesbian romps; lingerie parties; revenge; and a trip to the seaside are all part of everyday life on this Manchester estate.
