The Charlotte Church Nutcracking Christmas Special
Wales' favourite stocking filler Charlotte Church hosts this seasonal edition of her entertainment show, featuring celebrity guests, music, comedy sketches and hidden camera stunts. Adding Christmas sparkle to the proceedings are legendary comedian Ronnie Corbett, Gavin and Stacey's James Corden and Ruth Jones, and comic Jo Brand.
In the regular CCTV Remote Control strand, actor Jeremy Edwards receives outrageous instructions from Charlotte via a hidden earpiece while he is holding panto auditions, much to the bemusement of the Cinderella hopefuls. Plus the Nativity story is given a Cardiff makeover, with Charlotte taking the starring role as the Virgin Mary, and there are celebrity messages from the show's star-studded advent calendar.
Music comes from former X Factor contestant Rhydian, who joins Charlotte to perform the yuletide classic Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
