Sunny spells and scattered showers. Feeling chilly. Unsettled with a brisk westerly wind and a mix of sunshine and showers, some locally heavy and thundery, particularly in western parts. A better day in the east with some good sunny spells. Feeling chilly in many areas. Most places dry at first, but rain is expected to spread northeastwards, affecting most parts. Some snow is possible over higher ground in the north. A cold night. Rain lingering across parts of Scotland, but elsewhere a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers. Winds will ease but it will still feel chilly.
