Heavy rain in the south. Showers further north. Central and Southern England, and Wales will have a wet day with periods of heavy rain. Further north it will be brighter with occasional showers, but more persistent rain will spread into Northern Ireland and Northern England later. Heavy rain across Wales and Central and Southern England will die out from the west. Northern England, Northern Ireland and Southern Scotland will be wet, with showers across Northern Scotland,. Scotland will be cloudy with outbreaks of heavy rain. Further south it will be brighter with occasional showers, but the southeast could stay dry.
