Sarah Smith is Business Correspondent for Channel 4 News.

Prior to this she was Washington Correspondent until the summer of 2011 and before that she was presenter of More4 News from its launch in 2005. She posts regularly on the World News Blog. Over the last few years she has covered stories ranging from the election of President Obama to the Haiti earthquake.

Reporting from all over the US she has brought us stories on American army drones, the ongoing threat of home grown domestic terrorism, the campaign to legalise cannabis in California and the rise of the Tea Party movement.
