Lindsey Hilsum's Beijing: interactive map
Last modified: 29 Jul 2008
In the run-up to the 2008 Olympics, Channel 4 News's Beijing-based international editor offers a personal video tour of her 'hometown'.
Lindsey Hilsum became Channel 4 News's first ever China correspondent in 2006 when ITN, makers of Channel 4 News, opened a Beijing bureau.
Click on the links below for Lindsey's insider guide to landmarks including Tiananmen Square and the Great Hall of the People, her favourite spots Ritan Park and the traditional alleyways, and the less beloved central business district.
Use the 'plus' button on the left-hand side of the map to zoom in for a closer view.
Click on these links to go straight to the video tour.
Please note: Some locations are approximate.
