The July floods - Interactive Picture Map

In the last week of July 2007, heavy rainfall caused flooding across many parts of the United Kingdom.

From the Severn Valley in Gloucestershire to the Thames in Oxfordshire, homes were flooded, fields covered with water.

Here we record the events of this week where they happened - through the cameras of professional photographers and Channel 4 News viewers.

Click on the red markers for a recent picture of the affected areas. Zoom in with the left-hand controls, and you'll see a satelite view of the area before the floods.

Or you can click on the list of items below the map to open the small photo windows.
