Downloads: Data Protection Act The Data Protection Act shows one useful way you could get data on themselves and a number of people have used it to good effect. If you want to use it to find out what information has been recorded upon yourselves than we've provided a couple of sample letters for you to download. Simply right-click on the links below and save the file on to your computer somewhere (Select "Save Target As" from the menu that pops up when you right click on it). Then open the document, fill in the details and send it off. There are two letters for requesting filmed and written information seperately, although if you combine the written request and the request for footage as one request, you will only need to pay one fee of £10.
