EAST ANGLIA

The East Anglian region has a total of 22 seats. There was a 63.7% turnout in 2001. The Conservatives polled most votes (41.7%) ahead of Labour (35.8%). There was a 2.8% swing from Labour to Conservative. Key marginal is Norfolk North, which the Lib Dems gained from the Tories by just 483 votes in 2001.
