Combining stills and voices to convey personal stories about the aftermath of gun murders on Britain's streets, these four stories are a series of moving short films by award-winning film-maker David Modell.
Daniel Ross was shot dead on 24 September 2006 in the Scala Nightclub in Kings Cross. His Mother Jean talks us through his last day and the effect his murder has had on the family.
Michael's last day alive was 27 December 2005. His brother Thomas describes his apparently motiveless killing at the hands of a group of young men. He talks about the visit from the police to tell him the news and the subsequent trial of his brother’s murderers.
Vinod was with his friend Michael when he was shot dead. But the killers didn't stop at one victim - they then came after Vinod who had to make a desperate escape. Vinod talks us through the most traumatic night of his life.
Sean was shot in the stomach on a London street on 26 September 2006 in a case of mistaken identity. We hear from Nigel, a surgeon at the London Hospital who tells us the story of the operation he performed in a desperate attempt to save Sean's life.
