Man and baby found dead in Lancashire
Police have discovered the bodies of a man and a baby at a house in Preston.
A man and a baby have been found dead at a house in Preston.
Officers were called to the address in Ribbleton, Lancashire, at around 6.15pm where the bodies were discovered.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said detectives from the force’s Major Investigation Team were leading the inquiry but it was too early to say what caused the tragedy.
The spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to an incident at an address in the Ribbleton area of Preston at around 6.15pm.
“On arrival, a man and a baby were found dead.
“A detective superintendent from the Major Investigation Team is leading the inquiry and is attending the scene.”
The force has not said who raised the alarm or if anybody else was at the house when police arrived.
