Katie Razzall is a reporter for Channel 4 News

Katie Razzall joined Channel 4 News in 1999 as a producer and is now a reporter and presenter.

She was the first TV journalist into Hambantota, a Sri Lankan town destroyed by the 2004 tsunami. She covered the last two general elections as the programme's South West correspondent, has reported on many court cases, most recently the trial of Levi Bellfield which has led to calls for changes to the way victims are treated, and has introduced viewers to inspiring paralympians, including England's blind football team and the injured army veterans who'll be competing in 2012.

Katie was originally a trainee on ITN's prestigious news trainee scheme. She previously worked in Parliament and in factual entertainment for Carlton TV.
