Welcome to the Channel 4 News Live Blog.

We will be blogging live each night during the course of our 7pm programme. You can join, have your say on the stories we're broadcasting and let us know your thoughts.

You can either just watch it unfold (in the box above), or add a comment if you want to get involved. All comments will have to be read first by our team before being published, so you may have to wait a short while before seeing it.
