Guards boss speaks out over hostages

Home Affairs Correspondent

Two years after four British security guards and an IT consultant were seized in Iraq, Channel 4 News speaks exclusively to the head of the guards security firm. Andy Davies reports.

The families of five British men being held hostage in Iraq have been speaking about their hopes for their loved ones’ release, as Iraqi officials criticised the way the West has handled efforts to get them freed.

IT consultant Peter Moore and four security guards were snatched by armed militants at a ministry building in Baghdad in 2007.

The head of the security firm that sent the guards to Iraq spoke to Channel 4 News about his efforts to get the hostages released, and about the moment he phoned their families to say they had been captured.
