I found both Sean Langan's docs great TV. The timing of the Fighting the Taliban programme was good and would have allowed a large majority of the population to watch (and learn). However, I can't understand why the Meeting the Taliban programme was broadcast at 11pm. The cynic in me says it's to stop people becoming (possibly activitely) interested in what the "other half" had to say.

This was an excellent dispatches by Sean Langan. It exposed the problems of the war in Afghanistan in a succint manner. A point which I wish was expanded on a bit more was Pakistan's affiliation with the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. Due to the fact that Pakistan is supposed to be an ally in the War on Terror, its role in destabilising Afghanistan and providing a safe haven for terrorists is ignored. As an Afghan this is very frustrating. If Pakistan isn't dealt with then there is no real war on terror.
