A Conservative county councillor in Lincolnshire apologises on Twitter after posting a picture of women posing in underwear in reference to all-women shortlists.
This is a tweet from Lucy Rigby, Labour’s parliamentary candidate in Lincoln. It refers to an earlier tweet from a local Conservative councillor, Richard Davies.

Mr Davies has since apologised on Twitter.
having reflected on this i think I was wrong to post that photo. AWS is sexist but glamour pics don’t help. Sorry if I upset anyone ,

But his comments are still causing a stir. The Conservative party press office told Channel 4 News that it had nothing to say at this point – saying that it was up to Mr Davies to justify his comments. What do you think?
