Biography

John joined Channel 4 News as a producer in 1997 and is currently a reporter across all Channel 4's news programmes.

He has quickly moved through the ranks; firstly accepting an attachment to our Northern Bureau as reporter in Spring 2005, returning to London in the Autumn to take up the role of reporter for More4 News - which launched in October 2005.

As a Channel 4 News reporter John has investigated the July 7th bomber Jamal (Germaine) Lindsey and conducted the only interview with Jamal's half-sister.

More recently, working for More4 News, John secured the first pictures of CIA operated aircraft which were suspected of conducting 'extraordinary renditions' using a number of UK airports.

John continues to work for all Channel 4 News programmes: Channel 4 News at Noon, 7pm flagship show and More4 News).

As producer John covered a wide range of stories including an investigation into warnings received by the RUC before the Omagh bombing (working with Channel 4 News's chief correspondent Alex Thomson) and discriminatory practices against Irish Travellers.

The resulting film was used as evidence in court and led to a change in UK Race Relations Act.
