Biography

Before joining the Channel 4 News Team Jenny was a national reporter for ITV where she covered a range of breaking news. She covered everthing from murders to political scandals and notably exposed a case of serious child neglect. Jenny moved across to the Channel 4 Newsroom in January 2009.

Jenny's specialist subject is Health. Before working for ITN Jenny spent several years in the Midlands as the Health Correspondent for Central Tonight. Her exclusives included a one-to-one interview with the Prime Minister on Public Health, how the harsh diet and fitness regime of bodybuilders can lead to kidney failure and the development of the first artificial shoulder.

Jenny has travelled widely reporting on the smoking ban from New York, a carbon offset scheme in the Gambia and the inaugural high speed train link between St Pancras and Brussels. She is also an experienced TV Presenter and has been influential off-screen in persuading the Human Tissue Authority to alter their regulations with respect to the broadcast of medical images.

Jenny graduated in Law from Exeter University and studied journalism at the London College of Printing. She then worked as a producer for GMTV and BBC Radio 5 Live before becoming an on-screen reporter for Meridian Tonight where she was shortlisted for ITV Young Journalist of the Year.
