The remnants of the British Raj were swept aside today after a landmark ruling declared gay sex was no longer a crime in India. Emily Reuben reports.

Biography

As a reporter, she recently covered the Baby P trial and the fallout from his death.

She has secured a number of exclusives: from the BBC spending £45,000 on one party to launch a drama series, to Pete Doherty's first interview after leaving prison.

Emily helped launch the Money Slot on the Noon. As money reporter, she broke the news of the coffee chain Starbucks' dramatic climbdown over plans to block Ethiopia's efforts to trademark its coffee and get a better deal for farmers.

Before joining Channel Four News Emily worked as a reporter for ITV News where she was the first on the scene to break the news of the bombs in London on July 7th 2005. Before that, she worked as a producer at the BBC.
