A woman is beginning a 10-year jail sentence in Thailand after being found guilty of murdering her British partner.

Somrak Wiskrom, 47, worked as a chef and ran restaurants in Lancashire before moving back to her native country with her young son Connor from a previous marriage.

But three years after leaving Lancaster she was accused of mowing Michael Butcher down as he rode his motorbike to work on February 15, 2007.
