USA planning fresh Iran penalties

The US Congress is poised to act swiftly on new penalties against Iran if international talks on Tehran's nuclear programme show signs of faltering.
Politicians are this time talking about trying to block fuel and refined petroleum exports to the country, possibly causing serious disruption to the lives of ordinary Iranians.
"If we want to get their attention, we have to do something real: sanction Iran's gasoline imports," said Rep Ted Poe, a Texas Republican, in a House of Representatives speech.
