Updated on 05 December 2008
Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu said African nations should use military force to depose Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe if he refuses to relinquish power.
Tutu told Dutch current affairs show Nova that Mugabe has to leave office - if not voluntarily then by a military intervention from his African neighbours.
Tutu made the remarks in an interview broadcast on Thursday.
